Privacy

Below we provide information for you about the collection of personal data when using this website. Personal data is all data that relates to you personally, such as your name, address or email address.

The service provider in accordance with § 13 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and the controller in accordance with § 3 (7) of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) is mtm plastics GmbH.

We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that the transmission of data over the Internet (e.g. in the case of communication by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.

Type, scope and purpose of the data collection

The use of this website is in principle possible without the provision of personal data. Your personal data is always collected for a specific purpose and, if technically possible, on a voluntary basis. In addition, data is collected and stored on the server side to secure operations (see the “Server log files” section). In the case of the use of our website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not have to register or log in or provide us with other information, we will not collect any (further) personal data.

There is no merging of data with other data sources.

  • Content of the request (specific page), access status / HTTP status code,

  • Website from which the request comes,
  • Browser, operating system, language and version of the browser software.

We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

Transmission to third parties

We do not pass on any data to third parties other than the Borealis Group unless we have your express consent, unless we are obliged or authorised to do so for legal reasons. The personal data collected in the course of processing may be shared with Borealis Group entities and only for the purposes stated. Data is not transferred to countries outside the EU. Our company uses jweiland.net to operate this website.

Third-party content

In order to improve our services, we use offers from third parties. These include, for example, videos from the YouTube platform and maps from Google Maps. The functionality of these offers requires that your IP address be transmitted to these third parties. Unfortunately, we have no control over whether your data is used for other purposes, such as statistical analysis. To prevent the transmission of your IP address, you can disable JavaScript in your browser. However, this may result in other functions of our website being limited.

This website incorporates videos from YouTube. Its operator (Google Inc.) is based in the USA. By using this site, you are agreeing to this automated transmission to Google Inc., its privacy policy, and the YouTube terms and conditions of use.

Information, deletion and blocking

You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to the correction, blocking or deletion of this data, unless there are legal or contractual reasons which oppose this. If you have given consent to the use of data, you can revoke this consent at any time.

You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint if you have any further questions about personal data.

Data security

We guarantee data security through security standards in line with the current state of the art.

To protect your data, your connection to pages with the ability to enter data is securely encrypted. You can recognise this by a small padlock or the prefix “https://” in the address bar of your browser.

To increase your security, for example, you can configure your browser for greater data protection through extensions. Using “Private Mode” also helps to protect your data.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent except from Borealis Group.

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we only need an email address from you. We use this exclusively for the delivery of the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. The provision of further information is voluntary and will be used solely to personalise the newsletter. Voluntary information is marked as such. The processing of the data as well as the sending of the newsletter takes place on behalf of komma.

To register for our newsletter, we use the double opt-in procedure. This means that after you tell us your email address, we will send you a confirmation email to the specified email address, asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm within 24 hours, your registration will be automatically deleted. If you confirm the desire to receive the newsletter, we will save your email address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or this offer is discontinued on our part. The sole purpose of the storage is to send you the newsletter. Furthermore, we store your IP addresses when you register and confirm your email address and store these times in order to prevent the misuse of your personal data.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the email address and any other voluntary information, as well as to the transmission of the newsletter, at any time. You can revoke your consent by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter email.

Objection to advertising emails

The use of contact information published in the context of the obligation to provide publication details in an imprint for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby rejected. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example spam emails.

Update of this privacy policy

We adapt our privacy policy to changed functionality of the website or changed legal requirements. Therefore, we recommend that you read this privacy policy periodically.
